New FREE 7-day phone divorce advice service

We are committed to continuous service improvement and our new out of hours phone service is no exception. Whilst the idea of discussing an impending or potential divorce with a stranger may seem daunting at the outset, our new out of hours service can help remove some of the stress and anxiety from the process. Simply call 07807 783805 for an immediate expert but impartial and confidential conversation with one of our divorce solicitors. Between the hours of 5pm and 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am and 3pm on both Saturdays and Sundays, we will be here to lend a sympathetic ear to your issues and burning questions absolutely free of charge.

For many people taking time out during the working day or at weekends for legal advice is also highly impractical and in some cases prohibitive so we are coming to you.

Alongside our excellent drop-in legal advice surgeries (Tuesday evenings in Salisbury and Wednesday evenings in Andover) we believe this pioneering new service demonstrates the level of our commitment to the delivery of legal services to you our valued clients. Our divorce solicitors were the brains behind this but we value your input so do let us know if you have ideas about what we else we can do to make the service we deliver even better.

Forewarned is forearmed and whether you are in the process of divorcing or just starting to consider this course of action, it is vital that you consult a divorce solicitor as the process can be costly and time-consuming. Our team provide expert legal advice {including family mediation and collaborative law] that will help secure your future financial position and well being.

New Andover family mediator

Following on from the last blog entry about how committed we are as a law firm to family mediation and collaborative law, I am really pleased to confirm that the newest member of our family law team, Kate Scammell, has now qualified as a family mediator in addition to her earlier qualification back last autumn in collaborative law.

Andover-based Kate joins her Salisbury-based family law colleague, Amanda Trappes-Lomax, who had previously qualified both as a family mediator and collaborative lawyer.

Whilst the collaborative law and family mediation route is definitely not right for everyone – for those couples who are prepared to work together to come up with a solution, rather than focus on their differences and any family law dispute as a battle, these two approaches to both divorce and other aspects of family law can work really well. For many people, they are simply the best way of dealing with family law related disputes and we have no doubt that they will continue to significant growing popularity.
